About Safety Net Systems Nelson
Early in 2013 Kiwi Safe Net Solutions approached a well known fishing net company, Motueka Nets Nelson Ltd, with a view to create a safety net system that would suit the New Zealand residential building industry.
Over a period of several months a test program was carried under the guidance of a Consulting Engineer using nets fixed to the same type of timber frames as used widely throughout New Zealand. The end result was a complete safety net system that is now Certified by the Consulting Engineer for New Zealand residential building.
This was the birth of "Safety Net Systems Nelson Ltd".
In July 2017 Kiwi Safe Net Solutions Ltd purchased the business and rights to manufacture safety nets under the name Safety Net Systems Nelson.
Kiwi Safe Net Solutions Ltd is owned by local brothers Chris & Tony Langford.
